Это классика американской детской поэзии. Весёлые и очень простые для восприятия стихи, объединённые общей темой – каких выдуманных зверушек можно держать дома.
Что удивительно, ни одного многоногого / одноглазого / зубастого / рогатстого «монстра», которым кишат учебники английского. У меня ребёнок пугливый, а Сьюсовские фантастические тварюшки похожи на котиков / улиток / верблюдов и вполне невинны (кроме одного, но там это обыгрывается).
